I am a mother of four children in education at Powys county schools three in secondary education one in Primary.

I myself went to the schools they are attending and I myself have experience of being supported with additional learning needs.  The educational support that my children two having been on school action plus and discussed with the educational psychology department but never been diagnosed with a learning term or had the review dates met has caused concern and worry for them and us as a family.  The effect on their self-esteem and confidence has been an issue we have sort help from charitable organisation.  The disappointment about the lack of professional approach has been an experience.
